A groundbreaking new skatepark is being created in Roskilde – 30 mins. From Copenhagen – in the rapidly evolving creative neighborhood Musicon, located right next to the Roskilde Festival site.

HAL 12 has existed as an indoor skatepark since 2006. It all began on a grassroots level, when a group of local skaters started to build ramps in an abandoned industrial warehouse in the Musicon district. Now it’s time to expand and upgrade the building and skatepark.

The architecture of the new Hal 12 will be state-of-the-art yet tailor-made for the area. The existing raw industrial look will be supported and developed, and the traces of the former concrete warehouse will remain visible in the new construction. The idea is to create a new benchmark for the skate community – both on a national and an international level.

Kingwood has been involved in the new Hal 12 project creating a prospectus about the project with the objective to establish commercial partnerships.
